Hi! My name is Dana Cushing. I am a Registered Nurse and a Certified Health, Mindset, Nutrition, and Weight Loss Coach.

My heart is in empowering women 40+ to finally get healthy, recognize themselves in the mirror again, and lose 20- 50+ pounds.

People call me The Confident and Compassionate Coach because I specialize in guiding women over 40 (in peri- or menopause) who are frustrated and confused about what to eat and who struggle with weight, fatigue, sugar cravings, blood sugar imbalances, and all-or-nothing thinking.

Your diet is just what you eat. You do not have to be on a diet to lose weight.

  • Macros, especially during the menopause transition (age 40- 50+), are a science. If you’re used to under-eating, overeating, eating processed foods, or not knowing what to eat at all...

    This guide will help you understand precisely what macro-based eating looks like in action!

    Macros are a tool for success, not a lifelong requirement. We will use them for the first five weeks; you can use them longer if you choose!

  • Yes, I said “ideas” and not “recipes!” That’s because although there are 4-5 options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with all the ingredients listed, the number of ingredients you’ll need will be based on YOUR macros (which you'll learn to calculate in the How-To Guide!). Some example macros are included in the meal options.

    This is meant to empower you and help you lose weight along the way.

  • You will receive weekly lessons for the first 12 weeks. It is highly encouraged that you watch your short lessons weekly. You can always go back, but staying on top of your learning will help keep you motivated! You have 24/7 email/app access to me, and I respond M-F 8-5 very timely, with a longer response time on weekends.

  • I am here for you! You can reach out anytime through email or the app! Your 1:1 coaching calls are a great option to take advantage of! You will receive monthly 20 minute sessions. If you need more, you can schedule!

  • I will be more than your coach. I will be your guide and educator. I will SHOW you (not just TELL) how to create a nutrition and movement plan that you can use on repeat!

    My approach is a holistic lifestyle experience that includes a reset of meals, movement, and mindset. I guide my clients to their goals without relying on restrictive food groups or excessive hours of exercise.

  • Only you can guarantee that you will show up and do the work. I am confident you will be able to achieve your goals as have dozens who have done this before you! Let's do this! As long as you are moving forward, it is impossible to fail, but you have to get in the game to play!

  • The short answer is NO. I do have supplement and shake options for those interested. Supplements are just that. They are meant to fill in the gaps where needed.
